Tonight I went to see The Most Terrible Time in My Life which is really best described by the folks at Cornell Cinema as "a stylish homage to American noir and Japanese gangster films of the 50s and 60s." I can't really recommend this film enough. Go see it. Well, only go see it if you like detective movies, and Film Noir, and have a penchant for Japanese films....well, ok, maybe most people should stay away from this film, since it has that distinct feel that I've come to recognize after years of making people sit through things like The Disorderlies of a movie which I found great entertainment in but which most other people would think me that much more mad for enjoying. Oh, and watch out for those radioactive tastykakes...they'll getcha. Posted by charlie on April 11th 2001, 03:24 PM Leave Comment ![]() |
