Diamond Select Toys Acquire Battle Beast Line

In case you've missed it, I wanted to be sure to spend a few minutes pointing out another piece of excellent news from the recently wrapped San Diego Comic Con. Diamond Select Toys, maker of the very popular and increasingly well funded and creative Minimates, has just gotten hold of the brand rights to the Battle Beasts line from the '80s! For collectors who grew up in that period, these little guys are almost universally loved, and the idea that we might be seeing a whole new line, with the flexibility that brand ownership will bring, is very exciting indeed!
