	The Flash Force Base, made by Matchbox in 1984. The top turret gun has a clip where a cap-gun cap ring is placed, allowing realistic sound smoke and brimstone to be released with the flick of a trigger! There is also a launcher which can fire one of the small cars out the front gate of the playset. I was surprised to find that it was in the ready position when I first unpacked it from the box, and even more surprised when I hit the fire switch and it snapped forward with authority. The surprise elevated yet another notch when I turned the simple device over and found that it is powered by a small rubberband, which has somehow lasted these many years to give one more solid snap for the ages.
