Psy Man: Main Street D.O.A. - by Peter David
Peter David is a consummate pulp author - crafting enjoyable vacation-read stories in worlds ranging from Star Trek
to Photon! I wish I could dash off a fun story of 200 pages, plus or minus, substituting in whatever characters
the franchise demands, and then go off and pay the mortgage. This volume rang in at only a bit over 150 pages, but
did a fine job of pacing the action, explaining the characters that we would have met in the first two volumes of
this series, and wrapping things up (albeit a little quickly) in a satisfactory way. Terrible puns aside (Simon = psy-man) I
still must admit that it was a fun and enjoyable read!
